About the Role

pace is seeking a Sr. Planning Engineer to join their team for a full-time position. This role requires a seasoned professional with over 10 years of experience in development or construction projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Actively identify and report potential project delays.
• Analyze and approve extension of time claims.
• Communicate effectively with all trades, providing timely and efficient feedback.
• Develop presentations and comprehensive reports.
• Ensure timely submission, procurement, and delivery of long-lead materials.
• Examine and assess recovery plans.
• Initiate and respond to formal correspondence.
• Monitor site and engineering activities against the approved construction schedule.
• Review and action construction schedules, recommending areas for improvement.

Required Qualifications

• A minimum of 18 years of overall experience in development or construction projects, including multi-storey residential buildings.
• Experience working within the engineering consultancy or construction industry in the Middle East and other locations.
• A degree in an Engineering-related field is mandatory.
• A postgraduate degree in a related field or registration as a member of a recognized professional body is an advantage.
• Membership in the Saudi Council of Engineers (SSE) or any local engineer's society (*, CRPEP for Bahrain) is required.
• Certification in Project Management (*, PMP) or Cost Control (*, CCP) is highly desirable.

Essential Skills and Competencies

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Experience with planning software such as Primavera and Microsoft Projects.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to compile various project reports as directed by management.
• A client-focused approach, providing advice and services.
• A collaborative approach to teamwork.
• A detail-minded, thorough, and systematic approach to work.
• Application of project management and planning tools and techniques to ensure project completion dates and milestones are met.
