About the Competitive Coder Role

YO IT Consulting is seeking a Competitive Coder to join our team in Jeddah, Makkah, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position involves applying specialized expertise to help train next-generation AI systems. The role focuses on shaping how AI models learn, reason, and perform through the provision of high-quality, real-world input.

Role Overview

The Competitive Coder will contribute to the foundational development of AI systems by ensuring the accuracy and robustness of training data. This position emphasizes strong domain knowledge in competitive programming. Prior experience in AI is not required, as the core contribution relies on expertise in problem-solving and algorithmic design.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement checkers for competitive programming problems that may have multiple valid outputs, ensuring accuracy and robustness.
• Evaluate and validate participant submissions against complex problem statements, including those sourced from platforms like Codeforces.
• Collaborate with the customer's team to fine-tune problem requirements and clarify ambiguous scenarios.
• Develop clear, maintainable code in C++ to efficiently assess diverse outputs and edge cases.
• Document checker logic and communicate intricacies or edge cases effectively in both written and verbal forms.
• Provide constructive feedback to problem setters and reviewers on potential improvements to test cases and checkers.
• Stay updated with evolving competitive programming standards and integrate best practices into checker development processes.

Qualifications and Experience

• 0-1 years of professional experience.
• Demonstrated strong domain knowledge in competitive programming.
• Proficiency in C++ for developing clear, maintainable, and efficient code.
• Ability to evaluate and validate complex problem statements and submissions.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, for collaboration and documentation.

Work Environment and Location

This is a full-time position located in Jeddah, Makkah, Saudi Arabia. The role involves working within a collaborative team environment, engaging with both internal colleagues and customer stakeholders to achieve project objectives.
