About the Warehouse Technician Role

شركة العوجان للمرطبات is seeking a Warehouse Technician to oversee and manage daily warehouse operations. This full-time position is based in Makkah, Saudi Arabia. The role requires a professional who can ensure efficiency, accuracy, and adherence to established procedures within the warehouse environment. The ideal candidate will possess 2-5 years of relevant experience.

Core Responsibilities

The Warehouse Technician will be responsible for the comprehensive management of warehouse activities. This includes supervising the daily processes of receiving, storing, preparing, shipping, and distributing goods. A key aspect of the role involves maintaining high levels of inventory accuracy by strictly applying FIFO (First-In, First-Out) and FEFO (First-Expired, First-Out) principles. The technician will also conduct inventory counts, resolve any discrepancies, and manage the coordination of delivery operations.

Operational Oversight and Management

This role entails distributing tasks effectively among warehouse teams, ensuring smooth workflow and productivity. The Warehouse Technician is also tasked with managing returns and damaged goods, ensuring that all records and operational systems are accurately updated. Furthermore, the position requires the preparation and follow-up of daily operational reports, with a focus on identifying opportunities for process improvement and efficiency gains within the warehouse.

Safety and Standards Maintenance

Maintaining a safe, clean, and organized warehouse environment is a critical responsibility. The Warehouse Technician must ensure that all safety and cleanliness standards are consistently met. This includes overseeing the proper handling of materials and ensuring that the workspace is conducive to efficient and safe operations. Adherence to company policies and procedures regarding safety and hygiene is paramount.

Qualifications and Experience

Candidates for this position should possess the following qualifications:

• A minimum of 2 years and a maximum of 5 years of experience in warehouse operations.
• Demonstrated understanding and application of inventory management principles, including FIFO and FEFO.
• Experience in supervising warehouse staff and coordinating daily tasks.
• Proficiency in preparing operational reports and managing inventory discrepancies.
