The Role: Ambulatory Care Representative II

The Ambulatory Care Representative II is a full-time position based in Medina, responsible for managing patient visits from initial reception through registration and confirmation. This role involves processing all necessary documentation related to patient appointments and admissions, ensuring a smooth and efficient patient experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive, greet, and assist patients, employees, and visitors upon their arrival at the clinic.
• Register and confirm patient visits using the computer system, initiating necessary actions for patient check-in.
• Process and register financial letters from various sources, including Royal Families, Royal Cabinet, companies, General Medical Committees, and embassies.
• Initiate required actions on all registered and financial correspondence.
• Enter patient referrals, faxes, telexes, and mail into the hospital's computer system.
• Update patient biodata, addresses, and contact information as required.
• Manage walk-in patients and take appropriate actions for their service.
• Perform all functions related to Appointment Services and Admissions.
• Retrieve patient information from the system as needed.
• Address inquiries from patients and their families, provide assistance, and direct them to relevant services such as Pharmacy, Laboratory, or Social Services.
• Answer telephone calls, convey messages, sort and distribute office mail, and perform general errands.
• Adhere strictly to all Hospital policies and procedures.
• Participate in ongoing education, training, and development initiatives for self and others.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in a related discipline.
• IPA Diploma in Hospital Administration or a related field.
• High School Education.

Experience Requirements

• No experience is required for candidates holding a Bachelor’s Degree.
• One (1) year of related experience is required with an IPA Diploma.
• Three (3) years of related experience are required with High School Education.
