Food Services Supervisor

About the Role

The Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company, * is seeking a Food Services Supervisor to join their team in the Red Sea region. This full-time role involves overseeing food service operations to ensure optimal guest satisfaction and adherence to company standards. The position requires 2-5 years of relevant experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure staff teamwork for optimal service and guest satisfaction.
• Inspect staff personal hygiene and attire, addressing any deficiencies.
• Perform opening and closing duties, including organizing supplies, cleaning equipment and areas, and securing premises.
• Monitor the organization, cleanliness, and FIFO method application in storage areas.
• Complete scheduled inventories, stock, and order necessary supplies.
• Oversee seating availability, service quality, safety, and guest well-being in dining rooms.
• Process work orders for maintenance repairs.
• Assist management with hiring, training, organizing, evaluating, counseling, disciplining, motivating, and coaching employees.
• Serve as a primary contact for the "Fair Treatment Guarantee and Open Door Policy" process.
• Comply with all company safety policies and procedures, reporting maintenance issues, safety hazards, accidents, or injuries.
• Maintain company proprietary information privacy and protect company assets.
• Support co-workers and treat them with dignity and respect, contributing to team goals.
• Meet quality assurance expectations and standards.
• Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards, communicating professionally.
• Listen and respond appropriately to employee concerns.
• Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by supervisors.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than 50 pounds ( kg) without assistance.
• Ability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods or for the entire work shift.
• Ability to read and visually verify information in various formats.
• Ability to visually inspect tools, equipment, or machines for defects.
• Ability to grasp, turn, and manipulate objects of various sizes and weights, requiring fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination.
• Ability to reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, crawling, and leaning.
• Ability to move through narrow, confined, or elevated spaces.
• Ability to ascend and descend stairs and/or service ramps.
