About the Role

شركة محمد سليمان الجهني للادوات الصحية is seeking an experienced General Chef to join our team in Medina. This full-time position is for a professional with 2-5 years of experience in culinary leadership. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing kitchen operations, ensuring high standards of food quality, hygiene, and safety, and contributing to an efficient and productive culinary environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook a wide variety of dishes according to approved recipes and quality standards.
• Supervise food preparation and overall kitchen operations.
• Ensure consistency in food quality and presentation across all dishes.
• Maintain stringent food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards at all times.
• Lead, organize, and supervise the kitchen team effectively.
• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate the ordering of food supplies as needed.
• Minimize food waste and ensure efficient use of all ingredients.
• Assist in menu planning and introduce new menu items when required.
• Ensure the cleanliness and proper maintenance of kitchen equipment and work areas.
• Comply with all company policies and operational procedures.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Proven previous experience as a Chef or General Chef.
• Strong knowledge of both Eastern and Western cuisine.
• Demonstrated leadership and team management skills.
• Ability to work efficiently and maintain composure under pressure.
• Comprehensive knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards.

Preferred Certifications

Candidates holding culinary or food safety certifications are preferred.
