About the Internal Auditor Role at Yunigreen

Yunigreen, a Saudi company established in 1979 specializing in land transport, logistics, and environmental services, is seeking an Internal Auditor. The company has expanded its operations significantly, including the establishment of the Yanbu Factory in 2012, which is now the largest plant in the Middle East and North Africa for industrial oil waste recycling. This full-time, on-site position is based in Yanbu Al Sinaiyah, Al Madinah region, with the company also operating in Yanbu and Medina.

Role Overview and Purpose

The Internal Auditor will be responsible for planning and executing financial and operational audits across various departments. This role is crucial for evaluating the effectiveness of internal controls, assessing compliance with company policies and regulatory standards, and identifying areas for improvement. The objective is to ensure operational efficiency, safeguard company assets, and uphold ethical standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Planning and executing comprehensive financial and operational audits.
• Evaluating the design and effectiveness of internal control systems.
• Assessing compliance with established company policies, regulatory standards, and industry best practices.
• Reviewing processes, records, and transactions across various departments to identify risk areas.
• Preparing clear, concise, and actionable audit reports.
• Recommending practical improvements to enhance efficiency and strengthen control systems.
• Following up on audit findings to ensure implementation of corrective actions.
• Collaborating effectively with all departmental teams.
• Supporting the continuous improvement of risk management and internal control frameworks.
• Maintaining high ethical standards, confidentiality, and accuracy in all audit activities.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in Internal Audit.
• Professional certifications such as CIA, CPA, or CMA are considered an advantage.

Required Skills and Competencies

• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data, identify trends, and assess risk.
• Proficiency in preparing audit reports, assessing risks, and providing practical recommendations.
• Knowledge of internal audit standards, risk management, and compliance practices, preferably within industrial or manufacturing environments.
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, in Arabic and English, with the ability to review and interpret documents and reports in both languages.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple assignments and meet deadlines.
• Proficiency in audit and office software tools, including Excel and ERP systems, and familiarity with data analysis techniques.
• Preference for candidates based in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia with strong knowledge of local laws, regulations, and compliance requirements.

Work Environment and Location

This is a full-time, on-site position located in Yanbu Al Sinaiyah. The role requires the candidate to work within the operational framework of Yunigreen's facilities in the Al Madinah region, specifically serving the cities of Yanbu and Medina.
