About the Role

Fengkai Group Co., Limited is seeking a part-time PHD Peer Reviewer to support public health research. This is a long-term, stable position that allows for remote work. Applicants are requested to carefully review the requirements and accurately complete the application form.

Role Overview

The primary function of this role is to provide expert peer review for academic manuscripts in the field of public health. Reviewers will critically assess submitted work to ensure its quality, originality, and adherence to scientific and ethical standards. This position requires a strong academic background and a commitment to maintaining the integrity of scholarly publishing.

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate the novelty and originality of submitted manuscripts, assessing their contribution to the field of study.
• Critically examine the study design and methodology to ensure appropriateness, comprehensiveness, and clarity for reproducibility.
• Verify that the manuscript thoroughly incorporates and cites relevant, up-to-date research.
• Analyze the presentation of results and conclusions, ensuring they are clearly supported by the data and are significant to the field.
• Provide clear, concise, and constructive feedback to authors and editors, highlighting any flaws, omissions, or ethical concerns.
• Make recommendations regarding manuscript acceptance, revision, or rejection based on the evaluation.

Qualifications and Experience

• Possession of a Doctorate (PhD) or equivalent advanced degree in a relevant public health discipline.
• A minimum of 5-10 years of relevant experience.
• Demonstrated publication record, with at least 5 papers published in SCI/SSCI journals within the past three years.
• Thorough understanding of research methodologies and ethical principles within the relevant discipline.
• Prior experience as a peer reviewer for academic journals is highly desirable.
