About the Sales Representative Role

Key Responsibilities

• Gathering product and service data and specifications.
• Developing and maintaining a database of current and prospective customers.
• Contacting or visiting customers to present sales offers and product details.
• Managing and completing the sales process for all transactions.
• Following up with customers to ensure satisfaction and collect outstanding debts.
• Preparing and submitting regular work reports.

Detailed Duties and Tasks

The Sales Representative will be responsible for building a comprehensive customer database, including contact information and addresses. This involves actively promoting products and services, highlighting their specifications and competitive advantages to potential clients. The role also includes verifying prices, applying authorized discounts, finalizing sales, issuing invoices, and processing payments. A critical aspect of the position is managing customer debt collection, accurately recording all transactions, and remitting funds to the finance department. Furthermore, the representative is expected to prepare and submit detailed work reports, ensuring all documentation is saved and organized.
