About Crossing Hurdles and the Role

Crossing Hurdles is seeking a Transcriber (Arabic) to join its team. This is a contract position based remotely, focusing on projects within Saudi Arabia. The role involves both voice recording and transcription, requiring native proficiency in Saudi Arabic.

Role Overview

The Transcriber will be responsible for recording a diverse range of audio phrases and subsequently providing accurate transcriptions. This role operates in a fully remote environment, with a commitment ranging from 10 to 40 hours per week. Candidates should possess 2-5 years of relevant experience in transcription or voice acting.

Key Responsibilities

• Record various audio phrases in native Saudi Arabic using personal recording equipment.
• Submit precise and clear transcriptions for all recorded audio content.
• Engage remotely with the customer's team to receive instructions and provide constructive feedback.
• Ensure the authenticity of language usage, accurately reflecting Saudi dialects and cultural expressions.

Candidate Requirements

• Native proficiency in Saudi Arabic, including a comprehensive understanding of local dialects and cultural nuances.
• Demonstrated ability to transcribe spoken language with high accuracy and efficiency.
• Proficiency in using various audio recording devices.
• Comfort and capability in working independently within a remote, part-time setting.

Work Model and Compensation

This is a fully remote contract position, offering flexibility in working hours within the 10-40 hours per week commitment. Compensation for this role ranges from $30 to $65 per hour, based on experience and performance.
