Project Engineer

About the Role

Hill International, Inc. is seeking a Project Engineer to join their team in Abha, 'Asir. This full-time position involves overseeing various project functions and ensuring adherence to project goals and quality standards. The role requires a professional with over 10 years of experience in project management and engineering.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, budgets, resources, and risk assessments.
• Provide technical support and guidance to project team members.
• Coordinate with design, manufacturing, construction, and maintenance teams to achieve project goals.
• Ensure projects comply with quality standards and regulations.
• Maintain accurate project documentation, including progress reports, technical specifications, and change orders.
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders such as clients, contractors, and vendors.
• Identify and resolve technical issues that arise during projects.
• Monitor project functions including Project Management, Site Management, Project Control Management, Engineering Management, Procurement, and Construction Management to ensure coordination and proper staffing.
• Ensure accurate and timely reporting standards are maintained throughout projects.
• Coordinate and communicate with the projects group on major regional projects.
• Liaise with regional and site management regarding project status, significant trends, and changes.
• Monitor engineering progress against budget and forecasted schedules.
• Prepare engineering budgets, project schedules, and project control budgets.
• Maintain ongoing communication with construction and contractor management teams.
• Coordinate engineering activities with other departments.
• Monitor construction progress and provide technical assistance.
• Provide technical advice and support to other departments.

Compliance and Documentation

The Project Engineer is responsible for understanding and adhering to Hill International's Quality, Environmental, Safety, and Occupational Health Policies, Manuals, and Procedures. Continuous compliance with these requirements is mandatory throughout employment. Additional duties may be assigned by the line manager or supervisor.

Required Experience

• A minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in project engineering or a similar role is required.
