About the Role
Medtronic, a global leader in healthcare technology, is seeking a Surgical Sales Representative for its operations in Abha. This full-time position offers an opportunity to contribute to Medtronic's mission of alleviating pain, restoring health, and extending life through innovative medical technology.
Role Overview
The Surgical Sales Representative will be responsible for promoting and selling Medtronic products and services within an assigned geographic territory. This role involves building and maintaining strong relationships with healthcare professionals and stakeholders, assessing customer needs, and ensuring the optimal use of Medtronic's offerings. The position requires a proactive approach to market development and a commitment to achieving sales objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Promote and sell Medtronic products and services within a designated geographic area and/or specific customer accounts to meet or exceed sales goals.
- Develop, build, and maintain long-term relationships with stakeholders, including healthcare professionals.
- Follow up on leads, assess customer needs, and provide product services to maximize the benefits of Medtronic products and/or services.
- Promote and establish education about the company's products and/or services.
- Conduct market research, including monitoring customer and competitor activities.
- Implement market development plans/strategies and make necessary adjustments.
- Communicate customer feedback on new or existing products and applications to internal stakeholders, including Research and Development, Operations, and Marketing.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in biomedical engineering, Medical Technology, Nursing, Clinical Sciences, or a related healthcare field.
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience, with a proven track record in medical devices, clinical support, healthcare services, or a related industry. Preference will be given to candidates with experience in surgical sales, operating room environments, or general surgery specialties.
- Experience with the Southern Region of Saudi Arabia, including solid exposure to Ministry of Health, public, and private sector accounts.
- Demonstrated ability to deliver and manage assigned projects collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders.
- Willingness to travel frequently within the assigned territory.
Required Skills
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to build and maintain effective relationships with healthcare professionals.
- Ability to quickly learn and apply technical and clinical knowledge in a fast-paced clinical environment.
- Fluency in both English and Arabic.
- Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly in Excel.
Work Location and Type
This is a full-time position based in Abha. The role requires frequent travel within the assigned territory.
