About the Role

Almoosa Health Group is seeking a Clinic Services Coordinator to join its team in Al-Ahsa, Eastern Province. This full-time role is central to ensuring efficient patient flow and providing comprehensive support within the clinic environment. The coordinator plays a vital role in direct patient interaction, administrative tasks, and coordinating with various hospital departments to deliver high-quality, compassionate care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Greet patients courteously and inquire about their needs.
  • Request patient identification and confirm coverage type (Cash, Insurance, Aramco).
  • Verify insurance eligibility for insured patients at ASH.
  • Scan patient information, including ID, insurance card, and medical reports, and accurately enter data into the electronic medical record.
  • Open files for clinic visits and charge services as entered by the physician.
  • Schedule follow-up appointments for patients.
  • Provide assistance and guidance to patients, directing them to the Pharmacy, Laboratory, Radiology department, and other hospital areas as needed.
  • Coordinate re-appointments or patient referrals to other clinics based on clinician notifications regarding unavailability.
  • Deliver personalized, coordinated care and support to patients and their families.
  • Answer department telephone calls professionally, using correct salutations and etiquette.
  • Offer printed invoice bills to patients upon request.
  • Receive and respond to departmental emails concerning information updates.
  • Explain insurance percentages and different specialist doctor percentages to patients clearly.
  • Treat all individuals with dignity, compassion, and respect.

Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma or Bachelor's degree.
  • At least 1 year of professional experience working as a receptionist.

Essential Skills

  • Proficiency in typing and general computer knowledge.
  • Ability to communicate courteously and effectively with both staff and patients.
  • Good command of the English language.
