About Alogayell Consulting Engineers

Alogayell Consulting Engineers is seeking a dedicated and experienced Surveyor to join our team in Al-Ahsa, Eastern Province. This full-time position is crucial for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of surveying activities across our construction and infrastructure projects.

The Role

The ideal candidate will possess 5-10 years of experience in construction or infrastructure projects, bringing expertise in site surveying, setting out, and preparing comprehensive survey reports. This role demands a strong commitment to accuracy and adherence to project specifications, supported by excellent communication and coordination skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct land and construction surveys to establish control points, benchmarks, and project layouts in accordance with approved drawings.
• Perform setting out for civil works, structures, utilities, roads, pipelines, and other project elements.
• Verify project coordinates, elevations, alignments, and dimensions to ensure compliance with design specifications.
• Operate and maintain surveying equipment, including Total Stations, GPS/GNSS receivers, and automatic levels.
• Prepare and review survey reports, field notes, calculations, and as-built survey drawings.
• Coordinate with engineers, contractors, and subcontractors to ensure accurate site layout and resolve surveying-related issues.
• Conduct topographic, boundary, and as-built surveys throughout the project lifecycle.
• Monitor construction progress by verifying locations, elevations, and dimensions of completed works.
• Identify and report discrepancies between design drawings and actual site conditions, and recommend corrective actions.
• Ensure all surveying activities comply with project specifications, engineering standards, and applicable regulations.
• Maintain accurate survey records, control point registers, and calibration records for surveying equipment.
• Participate in project meetings to provide survey updates and technical support to the project team.
• Assist in quantity verification and measurement of completed works for progress reporting and payment purposes.
• Ensure the accuracy and integrity of survey data throughout all phases of the project.

Required Experience and Skills

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in surveying for construction or infrastructure projects.
• Proven experience in site surveying, setting out, and preparing comprehensive survey reports.
• Strong knowledge of various surveying equipment and instruments.
• Excellent communication and coordination skills.
• Ability to ensure accuracy in accordance with project specifications and engineering standards.

Technical Proficiency

Candidates must demonstrate strong operational knowledge of essential surveying equipment, including Total Stations, GPS/GNSS receivers, and automatic levels. The role requires the ability to apply this knowledge to verify project coordinates, elevations, alignments, and dimensions effectively.
