About the Role

Genius Sports, a global leader in sports technology, is looking for passionate individuals to join their team as Sports Data Collectors (Sports Scouts) in the city of Qalwah, Saudi Arabia. This is an opportunity for sports enthusiasts to leverage their knowledge and turn their passion into a paid experience.

Nature of Work and Responsibilities

As an independent contractor, you will be responsible for attending live sports events and collecting real-time, moment-by-moment data using Genius Sports' proprietary software. This role offers a flexible, match-based work structure, making it suitable for those who can commit to working evenings and weekends. You will contribute to official live data that supports the world's largest leagues, federations, and media platforms.

Key Tasks

  • Attend live sports events in your local area, including the Saudi Professional League and less prominent competitions.
  • Record accurate and immediate match data, including scores, plays, and key events.
  • Effectively use mobile technology in a fast-paced, live environment for data capture.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Strong knowledge of football (the beautiful game).
  • Reliability and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Availability to work evenings and weekends according to event schedules.

Required Skills

  • Proficiency in using mobile technology for data collection.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
  • Strong observation skills and accuracy in data recording.

Additional Information

This is a full-time independent contractor position. Payment is set at €55 per match, with opportunities for increased earnings based on performance. Training and testing will be provided to ensure you are qualified for the role. All CVs must be submitted in English. The work location is in Qalwah, within the Al-Baha region, Saudi Arabia.
