Aviation Electrician (AE) MH R

About the Role

Amentum is seeking an experienced Aviation Electrician (AE) MH-60R to join our team in Al Jubail, Eastern Province. This full-time role requires a skilled MH-60/H-60 electrician capable of performing Planned Maintenance Interval Inspections (PMI), Organizational, Intermediate, and Depot level maintenance on H-60 helicopters. The position involves troubleshooting, testing, inspections, and repairs of engines, flight controls, and the fabrication of electrical systems and components.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance and repair of major assemblies, subassemblies, and wire and connector replacements on H-60 aircraft and related systems.
• Conduct inspection, troubleshooting, fault detection, fault isolation, and appropriate corrective actions on electrical and utilities systems.
• Operate and maintain all applicable ground support equipment.
• Identify, use, and maintain all common, special, and precision tools for power plant maintenance and repair.
• Manage all maintenance documentation, applicable forms, records, and reports using appropriate references and publications, including the NAMP.
• Provide On-the-Job-Training (OJT) for Saudi technicians and other personnel, including maintaining appropriate training records.

Required Skills and Abilities

• Correct discrepancies by removing, repairing, or replacing defective circuits, wires, connectors, control units, plugs, switches, circuit breakers, diodes, resistors, capacitors, relays, and other parts of aircraft electrical systems.
• Perform final functional checks on existing and newly installed aircraft electrical systems, equipment, wiring, and cables to verify continuity, resistance, amperage, and insulation breakdown using standard and specialized tools.
• Trace signal paths through printed circuits and aircraft wiring to troubleshoot, modify, repair, overhaul, and maintain complex electrical systems such as antiskid, automatic flight control, and fuel indicating systems.
• Read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, schematic diagrams, and technical directives.
• Extensive knowledge in wire and connector repair is required.

Qualifications and Experience

Candidates should possess 5-10 years of relevant experience as an Aviation Electrician, specifically with MH-60/H-60 helicopters. The role requires a strong understanding of aircraft electrical systems and maintenance procedures.

Work Environment and Physical Demands

The successful candidate must be able to perform essential job functions, which may include:

• Walking and standing on level or inclined surfaces for extended periods.
• Climbing stairs, ramps, ladders, and work stands.
• Lifting up to 50 pounds.
• Distinguishing colors and judging three-dimensional depth.
