Abdullah A. Al-Barrak & Son Co. is seeking a dedicated Bolt Torque Lead Technician to join our team in Al Jubail, Eastern Province. This full-time position is central to our project operations, focusing on ensuring the integrity and safety of mechanical joints through precise bolt tightening activities.
Role Overview
The Bolt Torque Lead Technician will oversee and manage all bolt tightening activities across various projects. This involves comprehensive planning, coordination, and supervision of operations to ensure strict compliance with applicable standards and project specifications. The role requires a strong understanding of bolting procedures, torque tools, and safety practices, with a focus on preventing equipment failure and maintaining quality control.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise bolt torque activities on site according to project requirements and industry standards.
- Develop and implement effective bolting procedures and comprehensive torque plans.
- Coordinate with engineering and quality control teams to ensure compliance and resolve technical issues.
- Inspect and certify bolted joints and torque tools for accuracy and safety.
- Train and mentor junior technicians in bolting techniques and essential safety practices.
- Maintain accurate documentation and detailed reports of all torqueing activities.
- Ensure all bolting operations are completed safely, on time, and within budget.
Required Experience
Candidates should possess 2-5 years of experience in bolt torque operations or a closely related field. This experience should demonstrate a proven ability to supervise bolt tightening activities and ensure adherence to technical specifications and safety protocols.
