Abdullah A. Al-Barrak & Son Co. (ABIS) is actively seeking a qualified Coating Supervisor to join its team. This full-time position is dedicated to projects within the Oil & Gas industry and is based in Al Jubail, Eastern Province.

The Role of Coating Supervisor

The Coating Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the application of coatings to infrastructure and equipment. This role ensures compliance with project specifications, safety regulations, and quality standards. Key aspects include directing coating crews, coordinating with quality control inspectors, and monitoring the progress of coating activities on-site. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in managing coating operations within the oil and gas sector, coupled with a strong commitment to safety and quality assurance.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise day-to-day coating operations to ensure timely and quality completion of work.
• Coordinate with site engineers, QA/QC teams, and contractors to fulfill project requirements.
• Ensure all coating activities adhere to established safety policies and environmental regulations.
• Conduct inspections to monitor surface preparation, coating application, and curing processes.
• Maintain accurate documentation and reports related to coating works.
• Train and mentor coating crew members to improve performance and compliance with procedures.
• Identify and resolve issues during coating operations to minimize downtime.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• A Bachelor's degree or diploma in Engineering, Coating Technology, or a related field is preferred.
• A minimum of 3-5 years of experience supervising coating activities in the oil and gas industry.
• In-depth knowledge of coating materials, surface preparation, and application techniques.
• Familiarity with industry standards such as NACE, SSPC, and relevant safety regulations.
