KBR Saudi Arabia is seeking a Commercial Manager to join its team in Al Jubail. This full-time position is responsible for managing all activities related to securing contracts for maintenance within the Maintenance Department. The role focuses on accomplishing operational requirements to achieve world-class performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop Scopes of Work (SOW), evaluation criteria, contracting strategies, and preliminary cost estimates for maintenance activities during Normal Operations, Shutdowns, and Turnarounds.
• Manage the complete tendering and procurement process, including bidder selection, Instructions to Bidders (ITB), tender clarifications, commercial evaluation, negotiations, recommendations for award, and contract finalization.
• Lead contract administration and commercial management, including cost control, budget monitoring, payment verification, variations, change orders, claims management, and contractual risk mitigation.

Contractor Management and Compliance

• Manage and coordinate contractors and subcontractors, including mobilization, performance monitoring, KPI evaluation, corrective actions, and contract close-out to ensure compliance with contractual and operational requirements.
• Ensure all maintenance contracts incorporate and comply with applicable HSSEQ, QA/QC, technical, commercial, and company governance/DOA requirements, maintaining appropriate documentation and audit trails.

Cross-functional Coordination

The Commercial Manager provides commercial leadership and cross-functional coordination with various departments. This includes Maintenance, Procurement, Operations, Engineering, Finance, HSSEQ, QA/QC, and contractors, to ensure the timely, cost-effective, and successful execution of maintenance contracting activities.

Required Experience

Candidates for this position should possess 5 to 10 years of experience in a relevant commercial management role, with a focus on securing and managing contracts for maintenance activities.
