The Role of Drilling Rig Operator

SGS is seeking a Drilling Rig Operator to join its team in Al Jubail, Eastern region. This full-time position requires 2-5 years of experience and involves specialized work in soil exploration and sampling.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform soil exploration using appropriate drilling rigs, including percussion and rotary types, for borehole operations.
• Conduct on-site sampling from boreholes in accordance with BS 5930 standards.
• Carry out identification of soil types directly on site.
• Implement Quality Management System (QMS) procedures as required.
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment by adhering to established safety procedures and environmental control measures.
• Manage and maintain accurate worksheets and driller's logs.

Required Experience

• Candidates should possess 2-5 years of experience in drilling rig operation and soil exploration.

Work Location and Type

This is a full-time position based in Al Jubail, within the Eastern region.
