Role Overview

KBR is seeking an Electrical Technician to join its team in Al Jubail, Eastern region. This full-time role involves executing maintenance activities on electrical systems, equipment, and facilities, with a focus on preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance. The successful candidate will apply safe and efficient maintenance practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute daily electrical maintenance activities across all electrical systems, plant, equipment, and facilities within the designated area.
• Ensure adherence to SATORP's Safety and Quality procedures during all electrical maintenance tasks.
• Oversee proper execution of work and monitor routine maintenance activities.
• Perform timely and quality repairing and troubleshooting on electrical assets to enhance system availability and reliability.
• Receive work directions from the Electrical Supervisor regarding maintenance orders and requests.
• Monitor electrical maintenance work progress and submit regular reports to the Electrical Supervisor. Maintain records of daily maintenance works against planned programs and prepare completion reports as required.
• Enforce SATORP’s policies, procedures, and regulations, ensuring all safety measures and precautions are strictly observed during maintenance.
• Conduct preventive maintenance on HV and LV switchgear and control gears, including testing of electronic protection relays, power circuit breakers, bus bars, contactors, motor starters, and ATS.
• Perform readings of partial discharge capacitors in HV motors.
• Conduct online analysis of current signatures for motors.
• Perform testing on various types of transformers.
• Provide support for switchgear operations in electrical substations when requested.
• Undertake other related duties as assigned by the Electrical Leader.

Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 5 to 10 years of experience in electrical maintenance is required.
