About the Role

TASNEE is seeking a full-time Engineer Business Planning to join our team in Al Jubail, Eastern region. This role is designed for professionals with 2-5 years of relevant experience who are prepared to contribute to critical business planning and operational functions within the company.

Role Purpose

The primary purpose of this position is to manage various aspects of business planning, including inventory, pipeline sales, and contract review. The Engineer Business Planning will coordinate with customers, suppliers, and regulators, support annual production plans, and prepare monthly forecasts. This role involves significant data analysis, price calculations, and the creation of management presentations to support strategic decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare ongoing forecasts in coordination with raw material and utilities suppliers, and olefins buyers to ensure optimal capacity planning.
  • Coordinate and liaise with government departments, private parties, and neighboring companies regarding raw materials, feedstock supplies, utilities, and business forecast requirements.
  • Update the department database and master sheets with production, consumption, sales, and other performance indicators on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis, communicating updates to other department users regularly.
  • Prepare and review prices in conjunction with pipeline sales quantities for month-end closing.
  • Prepare and review supply agreements for utilities, raw materials, and pipeline sales.
  • Develop and monitor the economic model and olefin inventory management to facilitate TASNEE’s management decision-making process for overall profitability.
  • Support the plant with tolling forecasts and coordinate with all relevant parties.
  • Collaborate with team members to prepare high-level management presentations, charts, reports, and analyses as requested by the department, based on priority.
  • Participate in on-call duty and Eid holiday coverage on a rotational basis with other team members to complete or coordinate emergency and critical tasks.
  • Propose annual business plan contributors to management.
  • Perform other duties or assignments as directed by management.

Required Qualifications and Skills

  • A minimum of 2 to 5 years of experience in a related business planning or analytical role.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and database maintenance.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint for preparing management presentations, charts, and graphs.
  • Strong analytical skills for price calculations, forecasting, and economic modeling.
  • Effective communication and coordination skills for interacting with internal and external stakeholders.

Work Environment and Compliance

This full-time position is based in Al Jubail. The role requires collaboration within a team environment and adherence to operational schedules, including participation in rotational on-call duties and holiday coverage. The incumbent must ensure compliance with all relevant safety, quality, and environmental management procedures and controls within their area of activity to guarantee employee safety, legislative compliance, high-quality product/service delivery, and responsible environmental practices.
