About the Role

Tasnee (National Industrialization Co.) is seeking a Business Planning Engineer to join their team in Al Jubail. This full-time position is designed for professionals with 2-5 years of relevant experience who are ready to contribute to strategic business planning and operational coordination within the company.

Role Purpose and Core Functions

The primary purpose of this role is to perform duties related to inventory management, pipeline sales, and contract review. The Business Planning Engineer will be responsible for preparing the annual production plan and monthly forecasts, conducting price calculations, and developing management presentations. This position requires proficiency in data analysis and maintaining departmental databases to support informed decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare ongoing forecasts in coordination with raw material and utilities suppliers, and olefins buyers, to ensure optimal capacity planning.
• Coordinate and liaise with government departments, private parties, and neighboring companies regarding raw material, feedstock supplies, utilities, and business forecast requirements.
• Update the department database and master sheets with production, consumption, sales, and other performance indicators on a daily, weekly, or monthly basis, and communicate these to other department users.
• Prepare and review prices in conjunction with pipeline sales quantities for month-end closing procedures.
• Prepare and review Supply Agreements for utilities, raw materials, and pipeline sales.
• Develop and monitor the economic model and olefin inventory management to facilitate TASNEE’s management decision-making process for overall profitability.
• Support plant operations with tolling forecasts and coordinate with all involved parties.
• Collaborate with team members to prepare high-level management presentations, charts, reports, and analyses as requested by the department, prioritizing tasks effectively.
• Participate in on-call duty and Eid holiday coverage on a rotational basis to complete or coordinate emergency and critical tasks.
• Propose annual business plan contributors to management.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant safety, quality, and environmental management procedures and controls within the defined area of activity.

Qualifications and Required Skills

Candidates for this position should possess 4 years of experience in a relevant business planning or analytical role. Essential skills include proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data management and analysis, as well as strong capabilities in Microsoft PowerPoint for preparing clear and impactful management presentations, including the development of charts and graphs. The role requires effective communication skills for interacting with customers, suppliers, and regulators.
