About the Facilities Manager Role

This full-time position for a Facilities Manager is based in Al Jubail, within the Eastern Province. The role involves overseeing the daily operations, maintenance, and compliance of all facilities to ensure they function optimally, safely, and cleanly.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the daily operations of facilities, ensuring optimal functionality, safety, and cleanliness.
• Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs, overseeing repairs and maintenance activities.
• Prepare and manage the facility budget, monitor expenses, and ensure cost-effectiveness.
• Ensure all facilities comply with relevant local, state, and federal regulations, including health and safety standards.
• Identify and manage relationships with service providers, contractors, and vendors, negotiating contracts and ensuring service quality.
• Assist in space planning and organization to ensure optimal layout and functionality.
• Implement and promote sustainable practices and energy-saving measures.
• Supervise and train facility staff, fostering high performance and professional development.
• Develop and maintain emergency response plans and ensure staff preparedness.

Qualifications and Experience

• A Bachelor’s degree in Facility Management, Project Management, Engineering, or a related field.
• A minimum of 2-5 years of experience in facility management or a related field.

Required Skills and Knowledge

• Strong knowledge of facility management practices and building systems.
• Proven experience in budget management and financial reporting.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in facility management software and the MS Office Suite.
