Role Overview

MSA - The Safety Company is seeking a Junior Technical Service Engineer for a full-time, permanent position based in Al Jubail, Eastern region. This role reports to the Middle East FGFD Services and Solutions Leader and is responsible for managing various service assignments. The position also involves promoting MSA’s service business by maintaining and developing relationships with established Authorized Service Partners (ASPs), channel partners, existing customers, and new customers.

Key Responsibilities

• Commissioning of gas detectors, control panels, HVAC-R and monitoring systems, and other MSA Industrial PPE and Fire Services products.
• Performing servicing, maintenance, on-site calibration, repair, and training activities within Saudi Arabia.

Service Execution and Support

• Co-ordinating with the FGFD Service and Projects team to plan and execute project commissioning schedules.
• Collaborating with authorized service partners and guiding end-users on calibration, repair, maintenance, and training.
• Providing sales support to country and field sales managers for MSA products as required.
• Engaging with Middle East HQ to resolve warranty, quality, and product/spare parts challenges.
• Promoting MSA Services, managing service visits, on-site commissioning, and assisting ASPs in securing Annual Maintenance Contracts.
• Executing on-site paid repair, maintenance, and preventive maintenance.
• Collecting data and images of products, including competitive brands, to support business intelligence.
• Assisting the Quality Engineer by preparing field visit reports for customer quality notes and managing warranty replacements.
• Providing inspection, service, site visit reports, and calibration certificates.
• Supporting customers with spare parts, services, and training via telephone, email, face-to-face, and on-site assistance.
• Reporting customer issues to management and proposing solutions.
• Collaborating with Service Engineers and Sales Managers, and raising alerts for potential negative impacts on MSA functions.
• Offering sales support to the customer-facing team as necessary.

Authorized Service Partner (ASP) Engagement

• Assisting in the implementation of MSA Service policies with selected/certified channel partners in NON-ARAMCO accounts.
• Periodically visiting ASPs to address service challenges, conduct annual audits, and ensure compliance.
• Developing strong customer relationships through responsive service.
• Organizing and attending service meetings and training as required.
• Expanding service support coverage across underserved markets.

Required Experience

Candidates should possess 3-5 years of relevant professional experience to be considered for this role.
