Logistics Supervisor

About the Role

TESCO Engineering is seeking a qualified and experienced Logistics Supervisor to manage and coordinate domestic and international logistics operations. This full-time position is based in Al Jubail, Eastern Region, Saudi Arabia. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing logistics activities, ensuring the timely, compliant, and cost-effective movement of materials, and maintaining operational continuity.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise daily logistics operations, ensuring timely and efficient handling of requests from various departments.
• Review and approve transportation arrangements, delivery priorities, Incoterms, documentation, and regulatory requirements.
• Oversee the evaluation and comparison of freight quotations based on cost, transit time, service capability, and compliance.
• Coordinate with freight forwarders, suppliers, and logistics service providers for timely execution of shipments.
• Monitor compliance with packing, labeling, preservation, and transportation requirements.
• Track shipments from collection to final delivery, addressing delays and operational issues promptly.
• Ensure accuracy and completeness of shipping documentation, including Commercial Invoices, Packing Lists, and Certificates of Origin.
• Oversee international air, sea, and road freight operations, ensuring compliance with applicable regulations and Incoterms® 2020.
• Supervise compliance with Saudi Customs regulations, SABER registration, CoC, SASO requirements, and HS Code classification.
• Monitor and control logistics expenditure, verifying invoices and tracking against approved budgets.
• Coordinate logistics activities across internal departments and external stakeholders, ensuring timely communication.
• Ensure logistics operations comply with Company procedures, procurement policies, and financial controls.

Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 5-10 years of experience in logistics supervision.
• Proven ability to oversee and coordinate domestic and international logistics operations.
• Experience with customs clearance activities, import/export operations, and trade compliance.
• Familiarity with Incoterms® 2020 and Saudi Customs regulations.
• Proficiency in managing logistics documentation and ERP transactions (*, Nodhom).
