Matar Al-Baqami Holding is seeking an experienced Maintenance Engineer to join its team in Al Jubail, Eastern Province. This is a full-time position focused on ensuring the operational efficiency and reliability of equipment within animal feed production facilities.

Role Overview

The Maintenance Engineer will manage and oversee all maintenance activities across animal feed production operations. The primary objective is to minimize equipment downtime, ensure optimal machinery performance, and enhance overall operational efficiency through robust preventive maintenance programs and effective troubleshooting. This role requires specialized expertise in maintaining equipment commonly found in feed mills and related processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the maintenance and repair of feed mill machinery, including mixers, grinders, pellet mills, conveyors, and ventilation systems.
• Implement and manage preventive and predictive maintenance programs to ensure continuous and efficient operation of equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues in feed mills and poultry farms.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations within animal feed production.
• Manage inventory and procurement of spare parts, ensuring availability to avoid production delays.
• Collaborate closely with production and operations teams to ensure minimal disruption in feed production and poultry operations.
• Conduct regular inspections, audits, and maintenance checks to detect early signs of potential failures or maintenance needs.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records, logs, and reports, tracking repairs and service history for all equipment.
• Lead and supervise a team of maintenance technicians, providing guidance and training to improve technical skills.
• Develop and implement energy-saving initiatives and cost-effective maintenance solutions to optimize plant operations.
• Coordinate with external contractors for specialized repair and servicing as needed.
• Monitor production downtime and work to improve equipment uptime by addressing root causes of mechanical failures.

Qualifications and Experience

Candidates for this role should possess 8 years of experience in maintenance engineering, with a strong background in managing equipment within animal feed production or similar industrial environments. Expertise in maintaining feed mill machinery and related processes is essential.
