About the Role

KBR, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Manager with extensive experience in HDPE (High-Density Polyethylene) plant operations. This full-time position is based in Al Jubail, Eastern Region, Saudi Arabia. The role is integral to ensuring the operational efficiency and reliability of the HDPE plant through effective maintenance strategies and execution.

Role Overview and Responsibilities

The Maintenance Manager will oversee all maintenance activities within the HDPE Plant, ensuring adherence to company standards and best practices. This includes managing mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation maintenance tasks performed by contractors. A key aspect of the role involves diligent reporting of maintenance execution within the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) and providing essential support to the Planning and Scheduling Supervisor.

• Manage day-to-day maintenance operations to ensure plant equipment availability and reliability.
• Coordinate preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance activities for HDPE process equipment.
• Support the Company Reliability Department in bad actor analysis and reliability improvement initiatives.
• Prepare weekly maintenance reports and present updates during maintenance meetings.
• Ensure strict compliance with all Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) requirements during maintenance execution.
• Provide support for maintenance shutdowns, turnarounds, and major equipment overhauls, ensuring safe and timely completion.

Personnel Development and Competency

A crucial part of this role involves enhancing the competency of maintenance personnel. This will be achieved through job-specific training programs, developed and coordinated in partnership with the Head of Human Resources. The aim is to ensure the team possesses the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively and safely.

Required Qualifications and Experience

Candidates must be Saudi Nationals. The required experience varies based on educational background:

• A minimum of 10 years of experience in Oil & Gas / Petrochemical maintenance is required for candidates with a Bachelor's Degree.
• A minimum of 15 years of experience in Oil & Gas / Petrochemical maintenance is required for candidates with a Diploma.
• A minimum of 20 years of experience in Oil & Gas / Petrochemical maintenance is required for candidates with a High School education.

Experience in HDPE, Polyolefins, or Polymer manufacturing plants is preferred. Strong knowledge of maintenance contract management, safety regulations, and refinery/petrochemical maintenance standards is essential.
