About the Role

ArcelorMittal Tubular Products Al-Jubail is seeking a Manager, Application Support to lead enterprise and manufacturing application support services. This full-time role, based in Al Jubail, is critical for ensuring the secure, reliable, and efficient operation of business-critical platforms across the organization. The Manager will oversee various essential functions, including SAP Basis Administration, SAP Security, System Integration, and Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES/MOM).

Role Context and Objectives

The Manager, Application Support will be responsible for the operational reliability of platforms such as SAP ECC, SAP S/4HANA, SuccessFactors, SAP Ariba, SAP Sales Cloud, SAP BTP, quality systems, and related enterprise applications. This position drives application support strategy, service excellence, governance, cybersecurity compliance, and continuous improvement initiatives, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and business continuity.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the Application Support team, covering SAP Basis Administration, SAP Security, System Integration, MES/MOM, and enterprise application support.
• Define and execute the Application Support strategy in line with business objectives, manufacturing requirements, digital transformation, and cybersecurity standards.
• Ensure the stability, availability, security, and continuous improvement of critical platforms including SAP ECC, SAP S/4HANA, SuccessFactors, SAP Ariba, SAP Sales Cloud, SAP BTP, MES/MOM, and quality systems.
• Oversee SAP Basis administration, application security, access governance, segregation of duties (SoD), system monitoring, technical upgrades, and platform lifecycle management.
• Manage enterprise application architecture, integrations, interfaces, middleware platforms, and MES/SAP connectivity.
• Lead incident management, service delivery, problem management, root-cause analysis, and corrective action plans.
• Support SAP ECC to SAP S/4HANA transformation, application modernization, and digital transformation projects, including testing, migration, and post-go-live support.
• Ensure compliance with IT governance, cybersecurity requirements, audit standards, regulatory obligations, and data protection controls.
• Partner with stakeholders across business, manufacturing, quality, engineering, maintenance, supply chain, and IT teams to deliver effective application support and process optimization.
• Define, monitor, and improve application support KPIs, system availability, manufacturing system performance, and user satisfaction metrics.
• Manage vendor relationships, support contracts, performance reviews, and escalation management.
• Provide leadership, coaching, and capability development to the Application Support team.

Qualifications and Experience

• Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in Enterprise Applications, SAP platforms, Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES/MOM), Application Support, System Integration, Technical Operations, and Digital Transformation initiatives.
• At least 5 years of experience in a managerial or leadership role within the specified domains.
• Preferred experience with SAP ECC, SAP S/4 HANA, SAP Basis Administration, SAP Security, SAP GRC, SuccessFactors, SAP Ariba, SAP Sales Cloud, SAP BTP, MES, MOM, Integration Platforms, Active Directory/Azure AD, Single Sign-On (SSO), and Middleware Technologies.
• Proven experience in leading Application Support organizations, managing technical operations, system integrations, cybersecurity and access governance, incident and problem management, change and release management, system upgrades, audit and compliance activities, and vendor management.
• Demonstrated track record in delivering enterprise application transformation initiatives, supporting operational excellence, improving service performance, and implementing governance frameworks.
• Strong understanding of business processes across Finance, Procurement, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Sales, Human Resources, Maintenance, and Quality.
