About the Role

Mammoet is seeking a skilled and motivated Mechanic Technician to join our team in Al Jubail, Eastern region. This full-time role focuses on the repair and maintenance of mechanical equipment, specifically SPMT (Self-Propelled Modular Transporter) units. The ideal candidate will have 2-5 years of experience in relevant mechanical maintenance and troubleshooting.

Role Summary

The Mechanic Technician will be responsible for inspecting, troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining various mechanical equipment and machinery to ensure safe and efficient operations. This position requires strong technical knowledge, practical hands-on experience, and the ability to work effectively within a team environment to minimize equipment downtime.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on mechanical equipment.
• Conduct equipment maintenance and troubleshooting for Demag, Liebherr, Sany, and Kobelco cranes, as well as SPMT trailers.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical faults accurately.
• Repair and replace defective components and parts as required.
• Conduct thorough inspections and testing to ensure equipment reliability and operational safety.
• Adhere to all safety procedures and company standards consistently.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and prepare detailed reports.
• Support operational teams in minimizing equipment downtime through efficient maintenance practices.

Qualifications and Experience

• Proven experience as a Mechanic Technician, specifically with SPMT repairs and maintenance.
• 2-5 years of relevant experience in mechanical equipment maintenance.
• Strong technical knowledge of mechanical systems and components.
• Ability to diagnose and resolve complex mechanical issues.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position based in Al Jubail, Eastern region. The role involves working with relatively complex tasks and offers exposure to advanced mechanical systems within a supportive team environment.
