About the Role of Mechanical Engineer

Koch Engineered Solutions is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to join its team in Al Jubail. This full-time role requires a project-focused mindset and involves maintaining safe, reliable operations while contributing to plant transformation through automation, facility upgrades, and process and safety improvements.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide on-the-floor engineering support to operations and maintenance to assess equipment performance, troubleshoot issues, and evaluate system capabilities.
• Actively participate in fostering a safety culture by addressing unsafe conditions and behaviors, and contributing suggestions for improvements.
• Execute capital projects, including upgrades to plant systems, process equipment, and scalable transformation priorities.
• Generate mechanical requirements and estimates for projects and equipment upgrades.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project success.
• Oversee the installation, operation, maintenance, and repair of manufacturing equipment such as conveying systems, automated stacking equipment, batching operations, and combustion furnace operations.
• Read, modify, and create technical drawings, schematics, and computer-generated models.
• Provide training and technical support to Maintenance and Production Departments.
• Investigate equipment failures and recommend solutions for manufacturing processes.
