About the Role

Amazon Saudi Arabia (ex-Souq) is seeking a full-time Operations Executive to join its Ultra Fast Grocery (UFG) operations. This role functions as a Team Lead within a newly formed organization focused on designing and launching new business models across AMET. The position is based in either Al Jubail or Dammam, Saudi Arabia, and is integral to redefining fast delivery services for Amazon customers.

Role Context and Impact

The Operations Executive will play a key part in building and running new services, including 3P Store Operations, for Amazon's UFG division. This involves ensuring Amazon policies, such as attendance tracking, are implemented and administered fairly and consistently. The role also encompasses motivating, coaching, reporting on, and providing feedback regarding associates' performance, covering productivity, quality, and safety, to meet or exceed Amazon's operational expectations.

Key Responsibilities

Manage daily end-to-end Under the Roof (UTR) operations for either a single large site or a combination of smaller sites, including supervising store operations.
Meet customer-facing metrics while maintaining operational and quality targets, and upholding the safety and morale of the team.
Drive performance management for team members.
Prepare and implement training and development plans for pickers.
Collaborate with merchant stakeholders to continuously improve operational processes and achieve sustained performance enhancements.
Conduct daily 4M / 5S and Safety GEMBA audits for stores.
Act as a stand-in for the Area Manager when required.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree.
Experience in an operational role.

Preferred Experience

One or more years of experience in a manufacturing or customer-facing environment.
