Production Engineer

About the Role

Key Talent Solutions is supporting a well-established manufacturing and fabrication business in Saudi Arabia with the appointment of an experienced Production Engineer. This full-time position is based in Al Jubail, Eastern Province, and requires 5-10 years of relevant experience. The salary for this role will be disclosed during the hiring process.

Role Overview

The Production Engineer will be responsible for supervising day-to-day production activities. This includes ensuring that fabrication work is delivered safely, efficiently, to the required quality standards, and within allocated budgets. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with Production Supervisors and various cross-functional teams, including Quality, Design, Project Management, and Procurement.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise production and fabrication activities to ensure output meets quality, cost, and programme requirements.
• Control material wastage, man-hours, and consumable usage against budget.
• Allocate manpower, machinery, and other production resources effectively.
• Set daily production targets and monitor progress against the fabrication schedule.
• Coordinate with Quality Control, Design, Project Management, and Procurement teams to resolve production issues.
• Review work orders, technical documentation, and drawings before allocating work to supervisors.
• Ensure accurate production records, reports, and documentation are maintained.
• Monitor attendance and timesheets for production teams.
• Ensure compliance with relevant safety, quality, and environmental procedures.
• Support continuous improvement across production activities.

Qualifications and Requirements

• 5-10 years of experience working within a manufacturing or fabrication environment.
• Good understanding of production planning, manpower allocation, quality, and cost control.
• Strong coordination and supervisory skills.

Work Environment

This role is based in Al Jubail, Eastern Province, Saudi Arabia, within a manufacturing and fabrication business. It involves working closely with various internal teams to ensure operational efficiency and quality.
