Program Manager

About the Role

Amentum is seeking a Program Manager to join our team in Al Jubail, Eastern region. This full-time role involves planning, directing, controlling, and monitoring a Strategic Business Unit (SBU) and its support programs to ensure the successful achievement of program objectives. The Program Manager will oversee programs that provide multi-disciplinary engineering analysis and support across the design, development, implementation, operation, and maintenance of diverse systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage programs to ensure fulfillment of contractual obligations, including cost, quality, and schedules, while maintaining company profit motives.
• Act as the primary point-of-contact for all matters related to assigned contracts, serving as a representative between government personnel and the Amentum management team.
• Coordinate and/or approve local operating and personnel actions, policies, and procedures within the framework of overall corporate guidelines.
• Manage contract administrative functions, including safety, security, and labor reporting.
• Ensure adherence to established standards of individual performance and site discipline.
• Manage monetary resources to keep contracts within budget guidelines and meet all Amentum budget objectives.
• Plan and procure necessary staffing to achieve work completion milestones and deliverables.
• Provide a high degree of customer satisfaction through quality performance and optimal return on investment.
• Maintain liaison with customer representatives.
• Provide management guidance and control for the efficient utilization of human resources, including assignment, performance, morale, and overall welfare.
• Assist in the planning, control, and direction of staff and customer support personnel for one or more contracts.
• Directly support the maintenance of the current business base and develop and implement new business strategies.

Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 10 years of experience in program management or a related field.
• Demonstrated ability to manage complex programs and ensure contractual compliance.
• Strong leadership and communication skills for effective interaction with government personnel and internal management.
• Proficiency in financial management and budget adherence.

Work Environment and Conditions

This position is assigned overseas, where living and working conditions at the assignment location may be remote and uncomfortable. The role may involve long hours and exposure to various weather conditions, dust, and potentially hazardous or harsh environments.
