Receiving Clerk (Saudi Only)

About the Role

Courtyard by Marriott is seeking a Receiving Clerk to join their team in Al Jubail, Eastern region. This full-time position is open to Saudi nationals only and involves managing the receipt and processing of all incoming deliveries and freight for the facility.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive, unload, and process deliveries, accounting for incoming freight based on invoices and receiving reports.
• Stage merchandise by department, mark appropriately for placement, and deliver to the correct department.
• Verify and track received inventory, completing inventory reports and logs.
• Reconcile shipping invoices and receiving reports to ensure count accuracy.
• Receive, store, ship, and deliver incoming and outgoing department packages and mail.
• Secure the receiving room and its contents, ensuring the safekeeping of packages.
• Follow all national, state, and local hazardous material shipping guidelines and regulations.
• Ship all outgoing mail and packages.
• Verify the quantity and condition of packages upon receipt prior to delivery to guests.
• Communicate with guests regarding received packages and obtain signatures for delivered items.
• Maintain an accurate tracking system for all shipping and receiving transactions.
• Communicate with management regarding any loss or damage to packages.

• Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to the manager and complete required safety training and certifications.
• Adhere to all company policies and procedures, ensuring a clean and professional uniform and personal appearance.
• Maintain confidentiality of proprietary information and protect company assets.
• Address guests' service needs professionally, positively, and promptly.
• Communicate clearly and professionally, answering telephones with appropriate etiquette.
• Develop and maintain positive working relationships with colleagues.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to read and visually verify information in various formats, including small print.
• Visually inspect tools, equipment, or machines to identify defects.
• Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 50 pounds without assistance.
• Grasp, turn, and manipulate objects of varying size and weight, requiring fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination.
• Navigate narrow, confined, or elevated spaces.
• Move over sloping, uneven, or slippery surfaces, as well as up and down stairs and/or service ramps.
• Reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping.

Qualifications and Experience

• Education: High school diploma or *** equivalent is preferred.
• Related Work Experience: No prior related work experience is required.
• Supervisory Experience: No supervisory experience is required.
• License or Certification: None specified.

The Receiving Clerk will perform other reasonable job duties as requested by supervisors to support the operational needs of the department.
