Reliability Engineer

About the Client and Role

RTC1 Recruitment Services is seeking a Reliability Engineer for a well-established global supplier based in Al Jubayl, Saudi Arabia. This client specializes in producing high-quality tissue grades using advanced production methods and superior quality standards. The role is full-time and requires 2-5 years of experience.

Role Overview

The Reliability Engineer will be responsible for enhancing machinery reliability and optimizing maintenance strategies within the client's production facility. This involves a focus on preventing recurring breakdowns and improving overall plant efficiency through systematic analysis and implementation of corrective measures.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and equipment failure investigations to identify recurring breakdowns.
• Implement corrective and preventive measures to improve machinery reliability.
• Apply Reliability-Centred Maintenance (RCM) and Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA) methodologies to optimize maintenance strategies.
• Minimize unplanned downtime through effective maintenance practices.
• Monitor and analyze Mean Time Between Failures (MTBF), Mean Time to Repair (MTTR), and equipment availability.
• Utilize other reliability Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Leverage CMMS/ERP maintenance data to identify equipment trends.
• Improve preventive and predictive maintenance programs.
• Collaborate with production and maintenance teams to enhance overall plant efficiency.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 2 to 5 years of relevant experience in reliability engineering.
• Demonstrated experience in conducting Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and equipment failure investigations.
• Proficiency in applying Reliability-Centred Maintenance (RCM) and Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA).
• Experience with CMMS/ERP systems for maintenance data analysis.

Work Location and Compensation

This full-time position is based in Al Jubayl, Saudi Arabia. The salary offered will be inclusive and determined based on the candidate's experience and qualifications.
