Role Overview: Senior Sales Engineer

Evostel is seeking a Senior Sales Engineer to join its team in Jubail, Eastern, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role requires 2-5 years of relevant experience. The Senior Sales Engineer will collaborate closely with the Sales team to develop technical, architectural, and engineering deliverables aimed at generating profitable sales. A primary function of this position is to serve customers by identifying their needs and engineering adaptations of products, equipment, and services to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the full sales cycle, from initial customer engagement through to project award.
  • Identify customer requirements and recommend suitable technical solutions.
  • Prepare and deliver technical presentations and product demonstrations.
  • Develop opportunities within assigned accounts and maintain customer relationships.
  • Support RFP/RFQ/RFI responses and proposal preparation.
  • Gather market and competitor intelligence to inform sales strategies.
  • Review customer specifications, drawings, and bid documents.
  • Design and recommend Electrical and Automation solutions.
  • Prepare technical and commercial quotations.
  • Conduct site visits and technical assessments.
  • Provide technical clarification to customers and suppliers throughout the bidding process.
  • Prepare technical submittals, documentation, and final project dossiers.
  • Obtain quotations from suppliers and evaluate technical compliance.
  • Coordinate with vendors on pricing, delivery schedules, and technical requirements.
  • Issue purchase orders and monitor supplier commitments.
  • Review customer purchase orders for technical and commercial accuracy.
  • Coordinate with logistics, warehouse, finance, and suppliers to ensure timely delivery.
  • Support order execution until customer acceptance and project completion.

Performance and Reporting

Success in this role will be measured by new customer acquisition rates, renewal rates, up-selling, cross-selling activities, and overall contribution to the sales team's objectives. The Senior Sales Engineer is also responsible for maintaining accurate CRM and sales records, monitoring open orders and delivery statuses, and tracking customer receivables in coordination with the finance department. Ensuring compliance with company policies and ISO procedures is essential.

Experience Requirements

  • A minimum of 2 to 5 years of experience in a relevant sales engineering or technical sales role.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position based in Jubail, Eastern, Saudi Arabia, operating within a collaborative sales and engineering environment.
