About the Projects Senior Sales Engineer Role
Siemens is seeking a Projects Senior Sales Engineer to join its Smart Infrastructure, Electrical Products Department. This full-time position is based in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, and requires 5-10 years of experience. The role focuses on driving sales and market penetration for Siemens' Low Voltage (LV) products and systems within the region.
Role Overview and Responsibilities
In this role, you will be instrumental in achieving sales Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) across various sales channels and maximizing market exploitation for Siemens LV products and systems. You will maintain advanced knowledge of the LV market, including segments, potentials, pricing, competitors, and applications, while promoting the competitive advantages of the product portfolio. Your responsibilities will extend to supporting the back-office team in offer and order processing, and establishing productive relationships with key personnel in assigned accounts. Proactive assessment of partner account needs and support for product marketing activities to meet market demands are also key aspects of this position.
- Achieve assigned sales KPIs for different sales channels.
- Maximize market exploitation for Siemens LV products and systems.
- Maintain advanced knowledge of LV market segments, potentials, pricing, competitors, and applications.
- Promote competitive edges of the product portfolio over competition.
- Support the back-office team in offers and orders processing.
- Establish productive, professional relationships with key personnel in assigned accounts.
- Proactively assess, clarify, and validate partner account needs on an ongoing basis.
- Support product marketing activities to satisfy market needs and demand.
- Support the launch of new products for control and power distribution applications.
- Conduct quantitative analysis to determine market size and share for various Siemens businesses, updating and maintaining data regularly.
- Collect and analyze market intelligence regularly to identify industry trends, competitive dynamics, and customer requirements.
- Build and develop relationships with Consultants, Contractors, Developers, and End Users, promoting Siemens' visibility within local networks.
- Actively drive projects with all stakeholders through the entire sales process.
- Develop project pipelines for Siemens and channel partners, ensuring right selection and solutions.
- Support customers in evaluating and defining Siemens products’ technology and constraints.
- Support products’ approval and prequalification processes with concerned teams.
Qualifications and Experience
Candidates for this role should possess a Bachelor's Degree in a Relevant Engineering field. A minimum of 5 to 10 years of experience in a similar sales engineering role is required. A strong sales and marketing background specifically in low voltage products and systems is essential. Professional experience within the channel partner business for Low Voltage, power, and control products is also a key requirement.
