About the Role

ArcelorMittal Tubular Products Al-Jubail is seeking a Specialist, Infrastructure & Systems Administration to join their team in Al Jubail. This full-time role is responsible for the administration, maintenance, and optimization of the organization's server and systems infrastructure across both on-premises datacenters and cloud environments. The Specialist ensures the availability, security, reliability, and performance of critical IT systems, providing advanced technical support and serving as an escalation point for complex infrastructure issues.

Key Responsibilities

This role involves a comprehensive set of responsibilities focused on maintaining and enhancing IT infrastructure:

• Design, deploy, and maintain server and systems infrastructure in alignment with operational and business requirements.
• Install, configure, and troubleshoot server hardware, operating systems, and software components.
• Implement and manage virtualization technologies (*, Microsoft Hyper-V, VMware) to maximize resource utilization and efficiency.
• Monitor, analyze, and optimize server and system performance to ensure high availability and consistent service delivery.
• Perform capacity planning and proactively identify potential performance bottlenecks.
• Implement and maintain security controls to safeguard infrastructure against threats.
• Apply security updates and patches in a timely manner, adhering to industry standards and regulatory requirements.
• Design, implement, and manage backup solutions, ensuring data protection through reliable procedures.
• Develop, maintain, and regularly test disaster recovery (DR) plans to ensure business continuity and validate recovery processes.
• Support internal and external audits, providing evidence, documentation, and remediation actions for compliance.
• Conduct regular system audits and security assessments to identify and remediate vulnerabilities.
• Adhere to IT Service Management (ITSM) processes and best practices (*, ITIL) for incident, problem, and service request management.
• Follow change management procedures for all infrastructure modifications.
• Plan, coordinate, and execute infrastructure projects and modernization initiatives.
• Provide advanced technical support for server-related issues, serving as an escalation point.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver effective IT solutions.
• Maintain strong working knowledge of Microsoft 365 applications and services.
• Drive continuous improvement by evaluating existing systems and recommending enhancements.
• Remain available on-call to address emergencies, ensuring 24/7 support coverage.
• Provide regular reports on server performance, capacity utilization, and security posture.
• Develop and maintain detailed documentation for server configurations and operational procedures.

Technical Focus Areas

The Specialist will play a crucial role in several technical domains, including operating system management, system monitoring, patch and vulnerability management, automation initiatives, and capacity planning. This position is also central to backup and recovery operations and the continuous improvement and modernization of enterprise infrastructure services.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position based in Al Jubail. The role requires active participation in a dynamic IT environment, collaborating with various teams to ensure robust and secure infrastructure operations. On-call availability is a requirement to support critical systems outside of regular business hours.
