We are seeking a Systems Engineer Infrastructure & Applications Support to join our team in Saudi Arabia, specifically in Jeddah and Makkah. This full-time role requires 5-10 years of experience in IT systems administration and maintenance.

Role Overview

The Systems Engineer will be responsible for the administration and maintenance of installed IT systems and infrastructure. This includes managing and monitoring systems to ensure high availability and executing both preventive and corrective maintenance activities. The role is critical for maintaining the operational integrity of our IT environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and monitor all installed systems and infrastructure to ensure high availability.
• Install, configure, test, and maintain operating systems, application software, and system management tools.
• Monitor and test application performance, identify potential bottlenecks, and collaborate with developers on solutions.
• Liaise with vendors and other IT personnel for problem resolution.
• Execute maintenance duties according to the maintenance plan, including preventive procedures and schedules.
• Inspect and verify the status of assets and spare parts, performing corrective maintenance, repairs, and adjustments as needed.
• Submit maintenance checklist reports in accordance with work orders and maintenance plans.
• Troubleshoot issues by consulting as-built documents, schematics, and other relevant sources.
• Coordinate with Systems ML1 engineers to resolve incidents and analyze root causes.

Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 5-10 years of solid experience in IT systems administration and maintenance.
• Demonstrated ability to manage and monitor complex IT systems and infrastructure.
• Proficiency in installing, configuring, and maintaining operating systems and application software.
• Experience with performance monitoring and troubleshooting.
