About the Specialist Marketing Role

IHG Hotels & Resorts is seeking a full-time Specialist Marketing to join our team in Al Jubayl, Saudi Arabia. This role is central to supporting the development and execution of various IHG events and campaigns, including Wedding Fairs, Tradeshows, Bookers Reward Club (BRC) events, and MICE campaigns. The Specialist Marketing will coordinate with external agencies and vendors to ensure successful event setup, creative design, and collateral production, all while adhering to IHG and Brand standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day relationships, processes, and standards with IHG’s advertising agencies and production vendors to achieve brand compliance, cost efficiencies, and on-time delivery of outsourced work.
• Partner with internal stakeholders (S&M Operations, F&B, Marketing Communications, Brand Marketing, Guest Marketing, Hotel Loyalty Marketing, Regional Sales Office) and external stakeholders (advertising agencies, production vendors, hotel teams) to develop and execute scalable events and campaign support processes within budget and IHG standards.
• Manage marketing budgets and invoices, tracking performance to ensure event and campaign objectives are met.
• Oversee successful event and collateral production and fulfillment by understanding stakeholder requirements, applying Brand knowledge, and leveraging vendor and agency strengths.

Marketing Resource Optimization and Collaboration

This role involves fully optimizing the use of IHG Marketing resources to drive event and campaign performance. This includes leveraging S&M playbooks and toolkits, collateral templates, stock photography, Brand guidelines, training platforms, and media relationships. The Specialist Marketing will also coordinate closely with Area and hotel teams to execute events and campaigns on the ground, ensuring hotel needs are met while maintaining adherence to IHG standards.

Qualifications and Experience

• A degree in Marketing, Public Relations, Communications, or a relevant field is required.
• Candidates should possess 3 to 5 years of experience in event management, brand management, or creative production.
• Proven experience working directly in or with advertising agencies and production vendors is essential.
• Demonstrated experience in managing marketing budgets and tracking the performance of events and campaigns is also required.
