About the Storekeeper Role

Matar Al-Baqami Holding is seeking a dedicated Storekeeper to join its team in Al Jubail, Eastern Province. This is a full-time position requiring 2-5 years of relevant experience, focusing on the efficient management of materials and supplies within the company's operations.

Role Overview

The Storekeeper is responsible for ensuring the organized storage and distribution of materials and supplies. This role is critical for effective inventory management, including the accurate receiving and dispatching of stock, maintaining precise records, and upholding the safety and security of all stored items.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders to ensure accuracy and quality.
• Organize and store materials systematically in designated areas.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and update tracking systems regularly.
• Perform routine inventory audits to identify discrepancies and resolve issues promptly.
• Prepare and issue materials to various departments as requested, ensuring proper documentation.
• Monitor stock levels and coordinate with the procurement team for timely supply replenishment.
• Ensure storage areas are clean, safe, and compliant with health and safety regulations.
• Assist in developing and improving inventory control procedures to enhance efficiency.
• Support team members and provide training on storekeeping best practices when necessary.

Qualifications and Knowledge

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Additional training or certification in inventory management is advantageous.
• Familiarity with warehouse operations and inventory management systems.
• Understanding of occupational safety and health standards related to material storage and handling.

Required Experience

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in storekeeping, warehouse, or inventory control roles.
• Previous experience in similar industries or companies is preferred.
