The Role: Wooden Production Engineer

Arfad International Industry is seeking a Wooden Production Engineer to join its team in Al Jubail, Eastern Province. This is a full-time, on-site position responsible for overseeing and optimizing the production of wooden works for various industrial and structural projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee and optimize production processes.
  • Coordinate production planning effectively.
  • Implement and maintain quality control measures.
  • Analyze workflows and identify opportunities for productivity improvements.
  • Manage overall operational efficiency within the production facility.
  • Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines and quality standards.

Required Qualifications and Experience

  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in wood manufacturing and joinery factories.
  • Proven experience supervising production teams and coordinating factory operations.
  • Experience supporting large-scale projects such as hospitals, hotels, residential compounds, and high-end villas.
  • Ability to review shop drawings, technical specifications, and ensure production compliance.
  • Experience working with international consultants and project specifications.
  • Familiarity with international certifications such as Intertek and LEED is preferred.
  • Experience with ERP systems; experience with Odoo is preferred.

Essential Skills and Knowledge

  • Strong ability to coordinate effectively with the Projects Department to ensure alignment between production schedules and project timelines.
  • Strong knowledge of the Saudi market, including suppliers, materials, pricing structures, and execution practices.
  • Strong analytical skills for troubleshooting production challenges and improving workflow efficiency.
  • Solid experience in Quality Control and maintaining high production standards.
  • Demonstrated leadership capability in managing teams and driving performance.
  • Ability to prepare production plans and monitor manufacturing schedules.
  • Experience in material optimization and minimizing production waste.
  • Effective communication skills for coordination with production teams, procurement, and project management.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities with a proactive and solution-oriented mindset.
  • Familiarity with industrial safety standards and manufacturing best practices.

Work Environment and Application

This full-time, on-site position is based in Al Jubail, Eastern Province. Salary details will be discussed during the interview process.
