About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure the effective implementation of the project Quality Management System (QMS) across engineering, procurement, and construction phases.
• Review and approve EPC contractor quality plans, Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs), and relevant procedures.
• Monitor inspection and testing activities, as well as documentation, to ensure compliance with project specifications, codes, and standards.
• Conduct surveillance and audits to verify EPC contractor quality performance and adherence to ISO 9001 requirements.
• Coordinate the management of Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs), corrective actions, and the capture of lessons learned.
• Act as a key interface with client representatives on all quality-related matters.
• Ensure the timely close-out of all quality issues and concerns.
• Support the turnover process and the compilation of documentation required for mechanical completion.

Experience and Education Requirements

Candidates must meet one of the following experience criteria:

• Ten (10) years of experience in coordinating QA/QC engineering and construction activities, with at least five (5) years specifically in performing project quality control/quality assurance activities for Oil and Gas/Petrochemical projects.
• Fourteen (14) years of experience in coordinating QA/QC engineering and construction activities, with at least seven (7) years specifically in performing project quality control/quality assurance activities for Oil and Gas/Petrochemical projects.

Additionally, candidates must meet one of the following educational qualifications:

• A Bachelor's Degree in Engineering.
• A Diploma or equivalent with a certificate from a recognized agency in QA/QC.

Required Skills and Competencies

• Proficiency in Quality Management System (QMS) implementation and oversight.
• Experience in reviewing and approving EPC contractor quality plans, ITPs, and procedures.
• Strong understanding of inspection and testing processes.

This role is essential for ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and timely distribution of all project documentation, adhering strictly to company standards and relevant industry regulations. The Document Controller will manage the entire document control process.

Key Responsibilities

The Document Controller will be responsible for overseeing and managing the document control system for projects. This includes ensuring all project documentation is accurately logged, filed, and distributed in a timely manner, while maintaining the integrity and confidentiality of project documents. The role involves implementing and enforcing document control procedures and standards, managing the flow of project deliverables such as drawings, specifications, operating manuals, and vendor submittals, and establishing efficient filing systems for all project-related documents. Compliance with company policies and industry regulations related to document management is also a key aspect of this position.

Qualifications and Experience

• A Bachelor's degree in Administration or an equivalent closely related field.
• Alternatively, a Diploma or equivalent qualification coupled with a Certificate from a recognized agency in Project Administration.
• A minimum of six (6) years of relevant experience, or alternatively, ten (10) years of relevant experience.
• Proven experience in organizing and controlling typical project deliverables such as drawings, specifications, operating manuals, and vendor submittals.
• Demonstrated experience in managing filing systems and document flow procedures.
• Previous experience in a Project Management Consultancy (PMC) role at a similar level for several years is preferable.
• Familiarity with Saudi Aramco Desktop Standards and procedures/practices is beneficial.
• Previous exposure to construction and commissioning phases is beneficial but not mandatory.

About the Senior Process Engineer Role

Penspen is seeking a Senior Process Engineer with a specialization in Asset Integrity to join their team in Al Khafji, Eastern Province, Saudi Arabia. This is a core engineering position responsible for delivering a volume of engineering activities on projects and within the business as required. The role demands a strong understanding of process engineering principles and their application within the oil and gas and petrochemical sectors.

Key Responsibilities

The Senior Process Engineer will contribute to the production of engineering activities for projects and business needs, applying knowledge of basic engineering processes. Key duties include ensuring adherence to international codes, standards, and engineering practices, and managing and executing all aspects of design from concept through to detailed design. The role involves conducting technical analysis of engineering problems, developing Process Flow Diagrams (PFDs) and Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs), and utilizing Hysys Simulation software to develop Heat and Material Balance (H&MB) documentation. Preparation of engineering deliverables in accordance with company technical competency standards is also a core function.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 12 years of professional experience is required.
• At least 8 years of this experience must be specifically within Process Engineering for major Oil and Gas/Petrochemical projects.
• Mandatory experience in Asset Integrity projects is essential.
