About the Resident Engineer (Marine) Role

Role Overview

The Resident Engineer (Marine) will lead construction supervision for significant marine and port infrastructure works. This includes critical components such as breakwaters, jetties, dredging operations, and quay structures, ensuring adherence to project specifications and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor construction progress, ensuring it aligns with project timelines and quality benchmarks.
  • Oversee and maintain high safety standards on site.
  • Review contractor submissions, including reports and technical documentation.
  • Manage site supervision activities and lead site teams effectively.
  • Act as a key interface between the Client and other stakeholders.

Required Qualifications and Experience

  • A minimum of 20 years of professional experience is required.
  • Demonstrated strong experience in marine construction supervision.
  • Proven experience with breakwater construction, dredging, and quay wall works.
  • Knowledge of FIDIC contracts is essential.
