The Opportunity

Almarai is seeking an experienced Divisional Engineering Manager (Farming) to lead the engineering function across its large-scale dairy farming operations in Al-Kharj, Saudi Arabia. This is a full-time, senior leadership role based in a remote farming environment, approximately 100 km southeast of Riyadh. The position requires over 10 years of experience in a relevant field.

Role Purpose

The Divisional Engineering Manager will be responsible for developing and executing the engineering strategy to ensure the reliability, efficiency, safety, and performance of critical infrastructure supporting milk production. This role involves leading multidisciplinary engineering teams within one of the world's largest integrated dairy farming operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the engineering function across large-scale dairy farming operations.
• Develop and execute engineering strategies for infrastructure reliability, efficiency, safety, and performance.
• Manage multidisciplinary engineering teams responsible for electrical distribution systems, industrial refrigeration and ammonia plants, water treatment facilities, utilities, generators, and agricultural machinery.
• Oversee engineering projects from planning to implementation.
• Drive preventive and predictive maintenance programs.
• Manage engineering budgets and spare parts inventory.
• Ensure compliance with Almarai's Health & Safety standards and international engineering best practices.

Qualifications and Experience

• Over 15 years of experience in engineering leadership roles.
• Demonstrated experience in managing complex engineering operations, preferably within large-scale agricultural or industrial settings.
• Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary engineering teams.
• Strong understanding of electrical distribution systems, industrial refrigeration, water treatment, and agricultural machinery.

Work Environment

This role is based at one of the world's largest integrated dairy farming operations in Al-Kharj, Saudi Arabia. The position is situated in a remote farming environment.
