The Opportunity: Team Leader - Stores

Almarai is seeking a Team Leader - Stores to join its operations in Al-Kharj. This full-time role involves leading a team to ensure the efficient and timely provisioning of all spare parts and equipment. The Team Leader will oversee the entire process from purchase, delivery, receipt, and storage to issue, ensuring strict adherence to Inventory Control Procedures, safety protocols, and established quality standards. The role also requires providing management with essential information and reports as specified.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure product availability, accuracy, and compliance with Almarai Standards for Dairy, Bakery, and other products for all OBL locations in time for loading.
  • Monitor and maintain Inventory Integrity by overseeing Outbound Warehouse storage/systems capacity and utilization.
  • Investigate Inventory discrepancies by comparing orders against actual production output.
  • Ensure that all orders/STO are allocated and covered in the load plans of all Outbound Warehouses.
  • Coordinate with Warehouse Operations, Transport planning, Production planning, ATOMS, and EWM to resolve inventory-related issues.
  • Conduct continuous simulation and planning of daily load plans for dairy, bakery, and other products to enhance processes, productivity, and warehouse efficiency.
  • Maintain ADC logic in the EWM system for dairy, juice, and bakery.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Diploma or bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Warehouse Management, Business, or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory management principles, and stock control processes.
  • Experience using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and ERP systems such as SAP4 is preferred.
  • Experience in warehouse inventory control is desirable.
  • Knowledge of FMCG warehouse operations and continuous improvement methodologies is desirable.

Required Skills

  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills; experience using Power BI or other reporting tools is an advantage.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify trends and implement improvements.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position based in Al-Kharj, requiring a willingness to work on rotating shift schedules to support continuous operations.
