About ABM and the Role

ABM is seeking an Assistant Division Manager to join its team in Al Khobar, Eastern region. This full-time role is central to driving sales and managing customer relationships within a designated territory, specifically supporting the commercial growth of the Telecom product line. The Assistant Division Manager will also assist the Sales Manager in overseeing team performance, planning sales strategy, and contributing to market expansion initiatives.

Role Overview

The Assistant Division Manager is responsible for a blend of direct sales execution, customer relationship management, and team support. This includes actively contributing to sales targets, fostering client loyalty, and ensuring the effective deployment of Telecom solutions. The role also involves supporting performance monitoring and leading by example in sales performance and customer satisfaction.

Sales and Customer Management Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with key customers.
• Conduct client visits, sales calls, and technical consultations to identify opportunities.
• Recommend effective Telecom solutions, including Acoustic Systems, Paging, Speakers, and Amplifiers.
• Maintain accurate records of opportunities, appointments, and follow-ups.
• Achieve assigned sales targets and contribute to market share growth.
• Perform competitive analysis and recommend pricing and packaging strategies.
• Support tender submissions, technical documentation, and post-sale support activities.

Leadership and Project Oversight

• Support and coach junior sales engineers and team members, assisting in setting team targets and reviewing progress with the Sales Manager.
• Lead by example in customer engagement, compliance, and reporting standards.
• Participate in the hiring, onboarding, and mentoring of new staff within the Telecom sales team.
• Act as the primary point of contact for internal management and external partners for project-related matters.
• Foster collaboration among technical teams, product management, finance, and operations.
• Oversee project budgeting, cost control, and resource allocation, ensuring alignment with revenue goals and contractual obligations.
• Conduct feasibility and profitability assessments for proposed and ongoing projects.
• Promote best practices in project methodologies (agile, waterfall, hybrid) and drive post-project reviews for operational efficiency.

Qualifications and Experience

Candidates for the Assistant Division Manager position should possess a strong background in sales and customer management within the Telecom sector, coupled with leadership capabilities. The role requires a professional who can drive sales, manage complex client relationships, and contribute to team development.

• Minimum of 5 to 10 years of relevant experience in sales and customer relationship management, preferably within the Telecom industry.
• Demonstrated ability to achieve sales targets and contribute to market growth.
• Experience with Telecom solutions such as Acoustic Systems, Paging, Speakers, and Amplifiers.
• Proven leadership potential, with experience in coaching or mentoring team members.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder engagement skills.
