Role Overview

Hilton is seeking an Assistant Director of Sales to join its team in Makkah, with responsibilities covering both Jeddah and Makkah. This full-time position is central to supporting the hotel’s sales strategy and contributing to the delivery of memorable guest experiences, reflecting Hilton's commitment to hospitality.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive sales within a key market segment by managing a designated vertical market, qualifying leads, conducting outreach, delivering proposals, and closing business to meet revenue goals.
  • Support strategic sales planning by contributing to the hotel’s annual commercial strategy, aligning sales activities with business objectives, and collaborating with the broader commercial team.
  • Execute targeted sales initiatives, representing the hotel at tradeshows, client events, and sales calls, while maintaining a robust pipeline for short- and long-term business.
  • Enhance customer engagement by building relationships with clients, Hilton Worldwide Sales, Convention and Visitors Bureaus, and intermediaries, leading site inspections, and ensuring personalized client experiences.
  • Support sales performance and processes by aligning day-to-day team activities with strategic goals and reinforcing business processes that drive revenue across Rooms, Catering, and Events.
  • Track performance and market trends, monitoring business metrics, analyzing the competitive landscape, and adjusting tactics to meet evolving customer needs and market dynamics.
  • Inspire and develop the team through recruitment, training, supervision, and mentorship, conducting performance evaluations, providing professional development, and recognizing achievements to build an engaged and high-performing team.

Qualifications and Experience

Candidates for the Assistant Director of Sales position are required to have 5-10 years of relevant experience in sales, preferably within the hospitality industry. The role demands strong sales acumen, strategic thinking, and leadership capabilities to manage market segments and develop a sales team effectively.
