About the Role

The Eastern Province Charity Association for the Care of Orphans is seeking a Chief Operating Officer (COO) to manage and operate its facilities in Al Khobar. This full-time position requires a leader dedicated to ensuring efficient and professional facility operations, maximizing asset utilization, and fostering sustainable financial growth while upholding high standards of service, safety, and beneficiary experience.

Operational Oversight and Facility Management

The COO will be responsible for the strategic planning and execution of facility operations. This includes developing and implementing annual operational plans, ensuring facilities are maintained at 100% readiness according to approved schedules, and establishing comprehensive operational policies and procedures. A key focus will be on optimizing facility reservations and usage, enhancing the experience for beneficiaries, visitors, and partners, and meticulously monitoring operational performance indicators to inform senior management through periodic reports.

Investment and Revenue Generation

This role involves developing and executing a robust facility investment strategy aimed at generating sustainable financial revenues. The COO will be tasked with creating income-generating products and services, attracting corporate and governmental entities to utilize facilities, and building commercial partnerships and sponsorships. Designing effective rental, operation, and hosting packages, achieving annual revenue targets, and identifying new investment opportunities to maximize asset returns are critical components of this responsibility.

Maintenance, Safety, and Security

Ensuring the integrity and functionality of all facilities and equipment is paramount. The COO will oversee preventive and corrective maintenance, ensuring the safety of infrastructure, equipment, and technologies. This includes monitoring operation and maintenance contracts, preparing facility replacement and renewal plans to maintain asset efficiency and extend operational life. Adherence to occupational safety and security standards, supervision of emergency and evacuation plans, and monitoring security services are also key duties. The role requires ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness and promptly addressing any operational issues.

Event and Program Support

The COO will supervise the hosting and execution of events, ensuring that facilities are fully prepared before, during, and after each event. This involves coordinating effectively with various departments and benefiting entities, and managing the overall experience for guests, partners, and visitors during these occasions.

Qualifications and Experience

Candidates for this position should possess between 2 to 5 years of relevant experience. The role demands strong leadership capabilities, strategic thinking, and a proven ability to manage complex operational environments effectively.
